A Children's Treasure
Kim O'Hara Articles Editor Home Education Magazine
The authors could have written about injustice, but they chose instead to teach important lessons of forgiveness and trust. My children learned more than just history when they read this book; and yours will too. The second book in this children's series continues to tackle tough issues. The main character is the 16-year-old daughter of a family from the first book. The authors promise similar links throughout the series.
Kim O'Hara, homeschooling mother of three and Articles Editor for Home Education Magazine, lives in Olympia, Washington. She enjoys writing, singing, playing piano, solving meaty math problems, visiting with friends (online and off), and loving God with all her heart. Occasionally, she even finds time for housework.
