Three Steps
Toward Healing the Nation

"See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy,
and to throw down, to build, and to plant."

(Jer 1:10 KJV)

Worshippers HEAL was formed in 1995 with a call to help Christians humbly reexamine our nation's history and our own personal views of race, culture and denominationalism in light of scripture. HEAL was also formed to inspire Christians to reconcile with one another in the hope that these two steps would help to rehabilitate the Church's testimony in our land.

Before the Church in America can be used of God to bring healing and restoration to our nation, the Church must first Hear and Respond to God's call. Does the American Church suffer from a discordant perspective? What is God saying? Are we to just "hang on" until Christ returns? Or should we be fighting to redeem our Judeo-Christian culture? Do we, like the prophet Jeremiah, need to see that God has set us (the Church) over nations and kingdoms? Can we speak to the nations, with God's prophetic voice?

Since the mid-1800s, our nation has slowly moved away from our Judeo-Christian moorings and toward pluralism and apostacy. Like Jeremiah and other prophets of old, God has called us to Demolish and Uproot the gods and ideologies of our generation.

But God's work is not only to destroy the works of the devil, He also desires His Church to Build and Plant for His kingdom in the earth.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen."
(Matt 28:19-20 NKJV)
